Our Work

Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Religious and Charitable Trust established a beautiful Gurdwara in Balia Panda, Puri, to commemorate Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s visit to Puri.

The only children’s park, Bhai Himmat Singh Memorial Children Park, built on two acres of land allotted by Puri Municipality, is constructed and maintained by the Trust in Balia Panda, Puri. Hundreds of children play there and enjoy joy rides every day, free of cost.

The Trust established Guru Nanak Yatri Niwas to provide accommodation to pilgrims visiting Sri Jagannath Puri.

Every day, free meals are provided three times a day, completely free of cost, to hundreds of pilgrims visiting Puri by the Trust.

For the last 15 years, every year, more than 50,000 food packets and sharbat (sweet water) are distributed to pilgrims during the Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath by the Trust.

The Trust had organised a procession in 2012 from Singhdwar of Jagannath Temple to Gurdwara Aarti Sahib via Grand Road, Puri town, to cement the bond of Universal Brotherhood. His Highness Gajapati Maharaj of Puri and other dignitaries of different religions from India and abroad gave their auspicious presence, and nearly ten thousand people attended the historic moment.

Every year, a religious and social congregation is organised by the trust for Universal Brotherhood in the first week of April. Thousands of pilgrims from all over the world come to Puri and take part in it to take an oath of Universal Brotherhood.
